Another Trip Around the Sun

Tomorrow will be my 24th anniversary with Raley's/ Bel Air. I can't believe it's been that long. I'm grateful for my journey with the company. It's provided me a very nice lifestyle the last almost quarter century. A few more years until I can retire. Four more to be exact! Cheers!

Summer Is Here

Howdy y'all! Phoenix Chestnut here! Just checking in. The warm weather is here in Sacramento, which means it's time for cutoff shorts. I used to look down on cutoffs when I was younger. I thought it looked sloppy. I thought only poor people did it. As I've gotten older, I've taken a liking to them. They're very comfortable and almost anything goes with them...t shirts, polo shirts, Hawaiian shirts, tank tops, and jerseys (baseball, football and basketball). And you can wear them anywhere...the gym, the beach, ballgames, brunch, the pool, playing pickleball, concerts, anywhere! I have about six pairs now. I love them.  I saw this picture of some Canadian boys wearing cutoffs at a car show. I always think that summer is here when that picture goes viral in June.  Until next time!
