Watch Were You Step!

I was at Davis Muni getting some practice in. I played Friday afternoon. Decent round...three pars. My tee shots were solid and crisp. Aiming right at the flag. It was only my third round of the year. I'm far behind schedule to playing once every other week. That would be 26 rounds for the year. I'm very busy this year. So much going on. I'll have to start playing twice a week to get back on track. 
After I hit my large bucket, I headed to the practice green and putted for ten minutes. I looked down and three lizards popped out of the bushes. Looks like they were looking for dinner.

I worked 13 out of 14 days recently. I'm finishing up another stretch of work. I'm ready for some beers and tacos. Looks like someone needed something a little harder. Cheers to my "weekend". Golf and baseball on the agenda.

Summer Is Here

Howdy y'all! Phoenix Chestnut here! Just checking in. The warm weather is here in Sacramento, which means it's time for cutoff shorts. I used to look down on cutoffs when I was younger. I thought it looked sloppy. I thought only poor people did it. As I've gotten older, I've taken a liking to them. They're very comfortable and almost anything goes with them...t shirts, polo shirts, Hawaiian shirts, tank tops, and jerseys (baseball, football and basketball). And you can wear them anywhere...the gym, the beach, ballgames, brunch, the pool, playing pickleball, concerts, anywhere! I have about six pairs now. I love them.  I saw this picture of some Canadian boys wearing cutoffs at a car show. I always think that summer is here when that picture goes viral in June.  Until next time!
